#schsdsl Chat
MISSION: To learn, connect, and network with school librarians and other professionals around the state of South Dakota via Twitter.
HASHTAG: #schsdsl WHY USE IT? Twitter can be busy and confusing so a #hashtag is a way to aggregate/sort tweets. Think of it like a magnet that attracts all tweets by that topical word or phrase. You can search for messages assigned to any #hashtag anytime.
ABOUT: #schsdsl chat is just one of hundreds of educational chats! Twitter chats are opportunities for educators from all over to gather online and chat about school library related topics and shared professional interests. There are different types of chats depending on the time frame and audience, and we will use the slow chat formula.
SCHEDULE: #schsdsl Twitter chats are scheduled periodically throughout the school year. Notifications will be sent out over the listserv, and posted here. At chat time, join us! There's no pressure on how long you chat.
FORMAT: Twitter chats follow a Q1-A1, Q2-A2 format. Questions will begin with Q1, Q2, etc. and participants will answer with A1, A2, etc... When responding, be sure to always use the #schsdsl hashtag within the tweet.
MODERATOR: Twitter chats are organized and led by Alissa Adams, School Library Technology Coordinator, SDSL. Alissa's handle is: @alissa76adams
